Meet Coach Walter
Hi my name is Steve and I created Walter Endurance Co to provide structured, individualized coaching for runners and endurance athletes looking to improve performance while building long-term consistency.
My experience working in high-performance environments inspired me to bring a more professional and complete coaching approach to runners seeking more than just a generic training plan. Through studying my MSc in Strength & Conditioning, I developed a deeper understanding of how important an individualized approach is when integrating strength and conditioning into endurance training, as well as how to properly structure programming to support both performance and long-term development.
My coaching philosophy is built around sustainable progression, intelligent evidence-based training, and balancing performance with everyday life. Whether the goal is improving race results, building endurance, or developing stronger habits, coaching should provide clarity, accountability, and direction.
Through personalized programming, ongoing communication, and evidence-based training principles, I help athletes train with purpose, confidence, and consistency.
Athlete centered training
Each runner is an athlete of one, training needs to be appropriate for the individual not a copy and paste plan.

I believe that a runner should be educated on training to help empower independant decision making. The focus is on long term athlete development not flashy 6 week plans!
